As of yesterday we officially cancelled the contract for the Hamilton house. They didn’t seem very interested in renegotiating at all. A shame because we had a buyer all lined up if they were more flexible on price. I can totally understand why they wouldn’t be, but it still sucks. We will just move on to the next prospect. After about 2 weeks, we finally got the signed contract back from the realtor for the house that we had our offer accepted on. I’m not sure why it took so long, but when you get a Realtor (or anyone else) in between you and the seller, delays will happen. Many times that “middle man” can kill your deal by how they present it to the seller. Ours worked out, but it could have blown this deal up easily! Now …
