Easily Backup App Data to MySQL Database

This will probably be one of the more challenging articles I have written.  The difficulty will be in guiding people through the different technologies in order to get this immensely useful functionality implemented for us Podio users. Being able to backup and access your Podio data for reporting, exporting and searching is invaluable.  These things are very difficult to do in Podio as your workspaces get more complicated with Apps linking to each other all over the place.  Plus the …

Podio: Preventing Duplicate Property Leads

Scott Costello Blog, Podio, Tutorial 5 Comments

One issue that does not really have a perfect solution is preventing duplicate leads in an app.  I run into this problem on occasion with leads that come from my websites.  Also from time to time from leads lists that I import.  In this article I’ll go over the possible solutions and the problems each one has.   The concept of keeping duplicate leads out of your Podio App is simple one.  Any property with the same address as a current lead …

You can create an App to collect any type of data you want. Being able to create multiple apps and relate them together is incredibly useful as well. So you would have to pay a minimum of $125/mo to use GlobiFlow. I’ve left tons of messages trying to help …

Podio, at its core, is a development platform that makes it easy to create custom input forms and store that information in tables. If that was all Podio did, it wouldn’t require such a learning curve and wouldn’t be nearly as powerful. In my …

Podio now exclusive Globiflow Reseller…Is that a Good Thing?

If you haven't signed up for Globiflow yet, then I've got some bad news for you...the price of entry just increased 12x!! That is because Podio has entered into agreement with Globi Corp, to be the exclusive reseller of Globiflow. My first reaction was one of excitement until I read what exactly this meant. Podio wasn't going to sell Globiflow subscriptions, but rather make it a part of their Podio Premium (& Business) 5+ user plans. There would be no ...
