As most of you know about two weeks ago I put some bandit signs, 14 to be exact. I have heard over and over again that these signs bring in calls and I believed the hype but was always reluctant to let the gangster out. Sometime this weekend I think I’m going to drive the route and see how many of my signs are left up. I know there are some because I’m still getting calls!
How many calls you might be asking? 29 CALLS!!
One of my main interests, besides finding motivated sellers, was to see how my long voice mail message would work. Here the stats.
- 4 people listened for in 30 seconds or less
- 8 people listened for between 30 and 60 seconds
- 7 People listened for between 60 and 120 seconds
- 7 People listened for more then 120 seconds
- 6 People left voice mail messages
Quite impressive, as it greatly outperformed my expectations. To return all of these calls I’ve teamed up with my friend Lance so we make sure everyone gets a call back.
This coming weekend I’m going to be helping lance put out some more signs down in his area and hopefully that will lead to even more calls.
Have a good Thursday everyone!

Great results Scott. I would think they would work even better in this economy than a couple of years ago.

Scott that is fantastic! Just think of how many calls you would get if you put out more bandit signs?
Bandit signs was always one of my top ways of making money in sfh’s (followed by the MLS and the advertising on the back of my car.)
Great job Scott…I’d love to see more of your results in the future.

Can you describe where you put your signs for us, please?
I usually use wire stakes and put them on roads that get a lot of traffic near the on and off ramps. I try and angle them so people who are stopped at a light or stop sign can see them.
Hope that helps some
Hi Scott. Old thread here it seems just came across it through Google. Fast forward to 2016 are you still using bandit signs with success?
Look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Andrew,
I stopped using bandit signs because the return I got was not worth the effort in putting them up. That is just my experience as I’ve known people who have had great success with them.
