Need To Create a Mailing Campaign…No Problem

In the beginning, one of the main reasons I created SI Lead Manager was to help me organize and keep track of all my direct mail campaigns.  This has been the most challenging idea to implement for many reasons.  As I’ve used each version and have learned what I require in a campaign manager, I’ve had to constantly rework this module.  With Beta 6 I may have finally found the best way to handle mailing campaigns, there still might be some minor tweaks to the system but I think I have gotten it.  Here is a quick 4 minute teaser video demonstrating how the new Campaign manager works.

  1. Scott,
Great work. I like the teaser. I’m currently using your SI Manager 1.5.0.1. I’ve got a few thousand leads in there with notes and other info. Will i be able to migrate that data to the new version?

      Jaime,

If you are just talking about lead information like addresses, property info, notes and contact info then you will be able to once I develop the migration tool.

On the other hand, Mailing Campaign information unfortunately will not because there is so much of a difference between beta 5 and beta 6 that it’s impossible to migrate it over. You’ll have to reschedule your mailings.

Thanks for asking the great question!

  2. Hi Scott,

Really terrific job with all the information. I’m a little late to the game here and this probably has already been discussed. Do you or anyone following struggling investor have an recommendation on a great printer for the mailers? I’ve been tentatively looking and would prefer to get a laser color. Any suggestions?!

    Thanks Don

      Hi Don,

I have a brother color laser printer (mfc 9440cn) which does a decent job. Since I print on lined note book paper most of my printing is done through the manual feed. That can be a pain in the but sometimes because I can only put so much paper in there, like 50 sheets at a time. Envelopes are an even bigger pain because I can only stick 7 or 8 at a time and I have to stand there at the ready with more envelopes.
