Shutting It Down….

This has been the fastest years of my life!  It is amazing how having your first child will push the fast forward button.  Even through all of the change I managed to keep putting out the mailers and gaining valuable real estate investing experience.  At this point (mid December), my partner and I send out our last mailing of the year and start ramping up for the next year.

We have already had our yearly board meeting to discuss what we are going to concentrate on in 2013, so now we will take the rest of December to prepare and readjust our business to align with our new goals.  My job is to handle all the leads and direct mail marketing campaigns in our system.  My partner will close out any remaining open items for the year, continue is education on negotiating and analyze (and tweak) his schedule.

In order for us to effectively follow our new marketing plans for next year, the biggest thing I need to get done is the new version of SI Lead Manager.  Being able to handle the direct mail on a per lead basis instead of only on the List of Leads level is going to go a long way in organizing how we follow up with motivated sellers.   I’ve basically have an entire laundry list of little features and bugs to work out of the software right now, but if I push hard I think I can make it to opening night.

We seriously have to get more deals next year or this could be the last year!  Official Slogan of 2013….

      It’s looking pretty dismal to say the least. I haven’t checked to see the return on the most recent mailing, but I don’t think there has been 10 calls yet. I owe you that negotiating audio for being the closest to guess my response rate, what email address should I send it to?
