Just wanted to give an update on how my joining of Millenium Brokerage is going. I’ve emailed him all my forms and information and he is starting the process of submitting it all to the commission. I have to mail him a signed application though. I will do that tonight.
This is what I’ve sent the broker
- Weichert Course Certificate saying I passed
- Finger priting confirmation form
- Sales Agent Licensing Test Certificate saying I passed
- Name
- Address
- Soon to be signed application
What else…I have been bad about looking around the MLS this past week. The Yankees being in the world series is really holding me up as I MUST watch that. I keep telling myself…”Self, is it more important to keep motivated and find properties to make offers on, or watch the Yankees in their first world series in 6 years?” Investing wins out till about the 5th inning of the game when I catch a glimpse of the score. ahhhh I’m weak!
That’s my little update for today, I’m still sorting through all the information I’ve found for finding the Public Notices in my county so stay tuned for an update either Wednesday or Thursday.

Those damn Yankees!
I'm all signed up with my new broker too and I'm digging him actually. He called me yesterday with a great deal that just came on the market (I was on the road so didn't see it hit the MLS) and with a house that was pending on the MLS but he told me it was being released and that a short sale was already approved on it for $100k.
Not so much interested in the short sale property but I did make an offer on the other house he told me about. Plus, he's sending me the list of bpo's the office did in case I want to market them to buy or list.
I made 8 offers yesterday……..excited and nervous. But happy to be back in the game that's for sure.
Congrats! I'm bummed out but the Yanks clearly played better and earned the title. We'll be back next year though. -Ed

I am about to enroll in my real estate class at a local real estate school. I am hoping to get on the fast track like you guys seem to be. Hopefully we can all start off 2010 with a bang!
