Because I passed the first test for my real estate class I did not have to take the retest, but I did any way. I figured it was good practice and I wanted to get myself to study the New Jersey and Federal laws, acts and commissions as I had trouble with those on the first test.
My intentions were good, but I failed to really study at all. I tried searching the internet for a list of all those laws but was unsuccessful. I was being lazy and didn’t really want to page through the entire book and pull out each one, so I ended up finding that the book had definitions of a lot of the terms in the back. So I wrote those down and that was it.
Anyhow, I got an 88 on the Federal Part and a 93 on the State. Which is much better then the 83 and 77 I got previously. Go figure! I do think the test was easier then the first one, and that’s not because I knew the material better. I think the administrators did that on purpose in order to make sure more people passed the test…Just my warped theory.
Just thought I’d share that. Have a good Wednesday

Hey Scott… How soon after you received your license and choose your broker did you get access to the MLS?

I'll be sure to post about how long it took when I get my MLS access. My papers are still being processed by the state commission. Been going on for about a month now. It might have gone quicker if I signed on with a larger broker, but I can sense it'll be any day now.
Thanks for the question Tiara! And sorry for the delayed response.
